The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) gives the possibility to make different parts of tissue viewable. Therefore magnetic fields and radio waves are used.

Since 8 years this examination technique exists for equine medicine. Our clinic owns a tomography which makes it possible to examine sedated horses in stand.

In whole Germany only two other clinics are working with MRI.
