Endoscopy

Bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, cystoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy and hystroscopy are all parts of the endoscopy. The veterinarian can look into different orifices of the body using either a flexible or a fixed endoscope. All pictures made during the endoscopy get digitised. Moreover, it is possible to send them by post.

Hysteroscopy:
With the hysteroscopy gynaecological examinations can be made with “problem mares”. Furthermore, special artificial insemination techniques are possible

Arthroscopy:
The clinical picture of OCD (changes of joints, damage of cartilage or problems with chips) can get examined during an arthroscopy which makes an appropriate therapy possible.

Arthroscopy:
If examinations of the joints do not show a result after x-ray it is possible to search for diseases of the soft parts by an arthroscope which is only 4 millimetre big. This examination can be made without damaging the joints.

Laryngoscopy:
if a horse suffers from staggers (equine leucoencephalomalacia) a laryngoskopy can be made.
