The non-invasive Extracorporal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is used for orthopedics as a therapy for damaged tendons and ligaments. It shows good results in the treatment of podotrochleosis as well as painful exostoses of the splint bone. Furthermore, it helps to accelerate the healing process of fractures and fissures. In our clinic we use a focussed shockwave based on piezoelectrical technique. |
