Praktika
Praktika sind bei uns jederzeit möglich. Generell sollten unsere Praktikanten Pferdeerfahrung mitbringen, da sonst ein zu hohes Verletzungsrisiko besteht.

Eine Praktikantin aus den USA beschrieb ihr Praktikum bei uns wie folgt:
"Visiting Tierklinik Luesche was an excellent opportunitiy for an aspiring sport horse practicioner. The clinic had an amazing caseload (honestly unlike any clinic I have experienced so far in the United States) not only in the number of lamenesses you would see in a day but also the quality of horses and the quality and thoroughness of the work ups to match. In addition to seeing these cases worked up in such a methodically but time efficient and practical manner you will also get to see excellent horsemanship from the clients and staff. When not seeing cases there were surgeries to be observed. Again the surgery room environment was very methodical yet efficient.
The town of Vechta was interesting for any horse oriented person to visit and offered insight into the communities outside of the bustling larger destinations of Germany. I do wish I had planned my trip around one of the large sport horse auctions that occurs there I think that would be a nice addition to my trip. The language did not inhibit my learning as most of the doctors spoke very fluent English and honestly at times was a good challenge for me to look at a lameness and try to determine which limb was off before I discussed the case with the doctors in English. (Most of the client communications are done in German, though there are a few American horsemen there as well as other non-Germans who speak English as the language for their appointments). "
